BD Round 2 Revised Logline #7


Title: Blame it on Meryl Streep
Genre: Women's Fiction

At age 28 Laura Sanders has never been in a relationship and given up on love. But when she watches the movie Mamma Mia she suddenly finds the perfect coach to a happier life at her side: Meryl Streep. Nobody but Laura can see and hear imaginary Meryl, but so what? Sometimes you have to lose yourself in a fantasy to fix your reality.

  3. I love this premise! I think the first line is a little awkward. How about cutting it so you can get to the Meryl Streep part sooner? At age 28 Laura Sanders has []given up on love.

  4. I like this but there are parts that are awkward. How about:

    At 28, Laura has given up on love. But when she watches Mamma Mia, she discovers her perfect live coach: Meryl Streep. Nobody but Laura can see and hear imaginary Meryl, but so what? Sometimes you have to lose yourself in a fantasy to fix your reality.

    By the way, I really like the last line :)

  5. I think it's a good logline, but I have to say, I'm not really sure what this is about. But maybe that doesn't matter for a logline, right? It's just to hook? If so, good job.
